Barker Creek Lookout

A return track from Paradise Parking Area, this takes you out to a lookout along a path which identifies the trees in the area.
Located in Bunya Mountains National Park in the Southern Queensland Country region. Approx 3hrs from Brisbane. This is a 5.4km return trail and is suitable for most ages and fitness levels. Allow 2hours from Paradise Parking Area.


This is a circuit trail which you can add to the Barker Creek Circuit to make it a longer walk, or you can go to the look out and return the way you came from Paradise Parking Area. Getting there:

3hours north of west of Brisbane and 1.5hrs north of Toowoomba. If you search for Dandabah in google maps or Paradise Parking Area, it will take you there.

What do you need:

Ensure you have comfortable clothing and shoes along with at least 2L of water. If you do the longer circuit, ensure you take snacks.

Hot tip:

Dandabah has a township with rock wallabies roaming freely so allow enough time to take these beauties in.
