Border Track

Located in Lamington National Park in the Gold Coast Hinterland at Green Mountain. Approx 2hr from Brisbane. 21.4km one way to Binna Burra and it’s suitable for most ages and fitness levels. Allow 7 hours.

This is the longest walk which links Green Mountain to Binna Burra. You can walk full or part of the track. This is also one of the Great Walk sections. Full parks brochure and map here.

Getting here:

2 hours south Brisbane, head to Green Mountain using your google maps. The road from Canungra to Green Mountain is very windy and alot of one way, so be sure you take your time.

What to take:

Water and snacks, always. In winter also take a head touch as you could get stuck if the light disappears. Comfortable footwear and clothing. Hydration pack or drink bottle.

This is for advanced hikers, you need to be self sufficient and prepared.
